Bathroom Mirror Lighting Ideas

LOW-HANGING LAMP

Designer Darryl Carter generates a master bath that's accurate to his Virginia farmhouse's origins by utilizing a very simple lamp he made for the Urban Electric Co., a sink vanity made out of a walnut table, plus a slender mirror that sits in the front of the windows.

19TH-CENTURY LANTERN

In the master bath at this Paris pied-à-terre, the circa-1760 rosewood-and-bronze writing desk and 18th-century gilded wood stool are all French, the pendant light is created of a 19th-century lantern, the shower doors are metal and the walls are sheathed in striped plaster.

CRYSTAL SCONCES AND SHALLOW CEILING LIGHT

The master bathroom sinks by Urban Archaeology have Dornbracht fittings within this enchanting West Village loft. The seat cushion is covered in a Holland & Sherry terry fabric, the ceiling lighting and sconces are 1960s Italian, and the floor is granite, click here.

MID-CENTURY CHANDELIER

Thanks to a pair of brother architects, this flat on Paris's Right Bank has a dark and moody aesthetic that updates classic French design for the 21st century. The master bathroom holds a 1960s chandelier, a 1950s dining table, and a Saarinen armchair. The market is clad in tiles adorned with gold leaf, the walls are of Italian marble, and the floor is tiled with marble and gold-leafed-glass mosaics.

Conventional SCONCES

The master bathroom's tub, sink, fittings, and black limestone floors are all by Waterworks at this Upstate New York house. The sconces are by Vaughan, the kilim is from West Elm, and the artworks were bought in London and Paris.
