TRADITIONAL SCONCES
The master bath's bathtub, sink, fittings, and black limestone flooring are all by Waterworks at the Upstate New York house. The sconces are by Vaughan, the kilim is from West Elm, and the artworks were bought in Paris and London.
SIMPLE SCONCES
Simple lighting provides striking contrast to this busy Finnish wallpaper from the 1950s adorning the walls of the Manhattan flat powder room, decorated by Katie Ridder. Hanging above a simple yet stylish Waterworks sink, a FontanaArte mirror echoes the wall color.
GOLDEN SCONCES
The powder room in this Hudson River rancher mural is by Shantell Martin and the wainscoting is painted in Benjamin Moore's Midnight.
CRYSTAL SCONCES AND SHALLOW CEILING LIGHT
The master bathroom sinks by Urban Archaeology have Dornbracht fittings within this enchanting West Village loft. The chair cushion is covered in a Holland & Sherry terry fabric, the ceiling lighting and sconces are 1960s Italian, and the floor is granite.
DRIPPING CHANDELIER
Monique Lhuillier's bath in Bel Air showcases a custom-made light fixture by Foundry, white-oak cabinetry, and a picture by George Hoyningen-Huene.
